Things aren't so bright for the 2 seniors teams at the moment, so let's cheer ourselves up with some record breaking junior news.....
So far, we've played 6 games, 4 of which have gone down to the last over...one was even a tie on 111...we've won 2, lost 3 and tied 1
New records (and remember they play 20 over games):
Andrew Wilcock has taken over from Fahad as top scorer at U15 level, with an aggregate of 239 averaging 34 a pop.....this in the same number of games, in case you're about to ask
Andrew has a new highest individual innings of 65
Andrew has also scored more runs in a season than anyone else, with 171 so far from 6 innings (1 game to go)
Greg Murdoch is our new recrord wicket taker with 11, taking over from Hamad
We have a new highest innings total, 135, against Edinburgh Academy, which included a new record 2nd wicket partnership of 120 (Jeremy finishing 54no and Jack 47)
A new reocrd victory - 9 wkts vs Heriots2...which saw our second highest 2nd wkt partnership of an unbroken stand of 74 between Andrew and Jeremy , each ending on 40no and 34no respectively.
So, there you go, it ain't so bad....is it?

There is a new link in "Web Links" to view LJCDG fixtures, including Scores, Tables, best performances, etc under Lothian Junior Cricket Dev Group. It covers all our U15 league fixtures and the table (we're in Under 15 B) so please visit regularly to see how our lads are doing.
