The Kingfishers’ second string match with Murrayfield Dafs 4’s was washed out, for the second year in a row, as the thunder, lightning and torrential rain finally put paid to a finely balanced game on the artificial at Roseburn.Typical of the weather in Scotland, it had been glorious in Edinburgh all week, so it was with much trepidation that the forecast for Saturday was for rain at some point.

Livingstons home match v MUFS 2's ended abruptly afer 6 overs on Saturday as the tropical monsoon that had been threatening finally dumped its load all over Dresselrigg. 6 overs of play were possible as MUFs reached 11 without loss before the players were scurrying for cover, never to re-appear.... Sunny weeks, wet weekends.... is this the taste of things to come?

side looked to best advantage.
